The creative revolution is about empowering individuals to express themselves in new and unique ways, and promoting diversity and inclusivity in the arts. It involves breaking free from traditional forms and established norms, and encouraging experimentation, innovation, imagination and originality.

Blind Men and an Elephant — Image from Google search

To unleash the power of creativity, let’s discuss a contrastive parable of Blind Men and an Elephant, which suggest what limitations of thinking with a single perspective could brought to hamper creativity. Several blind men encounter an elephant for the first time and try to describe what it is like. One man touches the elephant’s trunk and says, “It’s like a snake!” Another man touches the elephant’s leg and says, “No, it’s like a tree trunk!” Another man touches the elephant’s side and says, “It’s like a wall!” Each of the blind men describes the elephant based on their limited experience of touching only one part of the elephant’s body.

To such Blind men, the giant creativity of nature — Elephant is just similar to a snake, tree or a wall and remind us the need to combine different perspectives to get a bigger picture. If by some miracle any one man get vision ability, it would be otherwise difficult for him to label this big creature as “Elephant” due to his limited past understanding.
